God in turns delegates authority

God has made MAN managers of the earth, which is delegated authority.

Genesis 1:26,28

In Genesis 1:28- God said for man to SUBDUE the earth. Subdue in Hebrew means

(hb-Kabas) bring into subjection, keep under, make a path

In order to properly understand your delegated authority on earth, you must understand why you are equipped with such power.

You were made in the image and likeness of God.

The Hebrew definition for image and likeness is

Image (hb-selem) illusion, resemblance, a representative figure, plural construct

Likeness (hb-d’mut) fashion, manner, similitude

Let’s go deeper. Genesis 1:26 GOD said, LET US make MAN in OUR IMAGE AFTER OUR LIKENESS

The “US” and “OUR” we know grammatically is plural. In Hebrew you have singular, dual and plural. Singular meaning ONE, Dual meaning 2, Plural meaning more than 2.

In Genesis we see the Father in verse 1, The Holy Spirit in verse 2. Now bring your attention back to verse 26 “OUR IMAGE.” In order for something to be made in the image of something, there has to be a physical “form” of something (Jesus).

So God said LET US (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in our image, after our likeness. How deep does this go? Let’s take a look

So we see there are dimensions to God. So we were made in the image of God, Jesus, Holy Spirit. And made in the likeness of God, Jesus, Holy Spirit.

Let’s go deeper in the likeness of the Holy Spirit

Scripture reveals the Likeness of the Holy Spirit: the fruit of the Spirit Gal 5:22-23

Power, Love, sound mind, holy (Jesus said be ye holy for I am holy)

So when God created man, he created us dimensionally by His Spirit.

You have some Dimensions of The Father, some Dimensions of the Son, Some dimensions of the Holy Ghost in the Spirit.

Even the Angels said, What is man that you are so mindful of him. Not WHO is man, but WHAT! Because MAN was made in a different structure than them. Where as we hold the image of the father, son, and Holy Ghost. So to understand man, you have to study God!

Can you see why we have delegated authority? Why?

We see that God created the heavens first where He had dominion of. He then created the earth- another realm where He made an image of Him and said for us to have dominion of the earth and creatures, and subdue it.

The Scriptures say that the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness there of.

So the Earth belongs to God, but when He has placed us here to represent Him, we then have Dominion of the Earth. So God has delegated authority to us since the beginning.
