Current is the SAME in that loop

Voltage is SPLIT between components on that loop, MORE voltage across higher resistance components. (Ones with more resistance get a bigger share)

Current is SPLIT down each loop, PROPORTIONAL to the resistance of each branch. More current goes down the lower resistance loop.
