Technological convergence – different media on one device (phone = camera, radio, TV, internet).
Cross-platform convergence – companies working across different media (Disney owns movies, TV, streaming, merch).

Music sales dropped in CDs/downloads, shifted to streaming. Artists had to rely more on concerts/merch for money.
Understand how music sales have changed over the years. (total sales, physical goods, digital downloads, streaming, etc.)
· Past: Physical goods (records, tapes, CDs).
· 2000s: Digital downloads (iTunes).
· Now: Mostly streaming (Spotify, Apple Music).
· Total sales: Streaming is #1, physical goods are small but vinyl is making a comeback.
