Frontal lobe
The part of the brain located at the front, behind the forehead.
Parietal lobe
The part of the brain located at the top and back, behind the frontal lobe.
Temporal lobe
The part of the brain located on the sides, above the ears.
Occipital lobe
The part of the brain located at the back, behind the parietal and temporal lobes.
Cerebellum
The part of the brain located at the back, below the occipital lobe.
Medulla oblongata
The part of the brain located at the base, above the spinal cord.
Pons
The part of the brain located above the medulla oblongata, in the brainstem.
Hypothalamus
The part of the brain located below the thalamus, in the middle.
Pituitary gland
The gland located below the hypothalamus
Thalamus
The part of the brain located above the hypothalamus, in the middle.
Corpus callosum
The structure deep within the brain that connects the left and right hemispheres.
