Limitations
Your rights are relative to the rights of other people! They are not absolute rights! The Bill of Rights does not apply to private companies
1st Amendment
RAPPS (Religion, Assembly, Press, Petition, and Speech)
2nd Amendment
The right to keep and bare arms
3rd Amendment
No quartering of soldiers in any home without consent of the owner
4th Amendment
You are protected against unlawful search and seizure unless the government has probable cause
5th Amendment
Five Parts:
1) Presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury
2) Nor shall any person be subject for the same offense twice
3) Nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself
4) Nor shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process
5) Nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation
6th Amendment
Four Parts:
1) Right to a speedy and public trial
2) To be informed of the nature and case of the accusation
3) Confronted with the witness against him
4) Assistance of counsel for his defense (personal witness)
7th Amendment
In suits at common (civil) law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved
8th Amendment
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines improved, nor cruel and unusual punishments be implied
9th Amendment
You have more rights than they are listed in the constitution
10th Amendment
Powers not delegated to the federal government nor denied to the states is a state power
