current realizations you’re going through
“I’m taking a break from my ex.”
“I’m taking my time to recover from my depression.”
my past
if you don’t trust the person you’re telling this to, then the information isn’t relevant
This can be with new people - they don’t have to know past struggles or strifes
future endeavors
unless it’s come to the point in which you can’t hide what you’re planning, don’t share.
- Like a business plan - you don’t even have the blueprints yet, and you’re not even sure it’s gonna happen
good deeds
there’s a level of inauthenticity when you go about talking of your good deeds. Good people just do them, not show them off.
failures
we tend to maximize our own failures, and it creates a bad image. We don’t look confident or withstanding
Don’t tell people how others have done you wrong (regular day-to-day ppl)
don’t drag someone’s name in the mud just to feel better about yourself. You can still succeed without them, and not mentioning them is taking them away from your life.
Don’t tell people what you’re looking for (like in dating)
That way, people don’t mask themselves to fit that ideal
- “I know what I want when I see it.”
