What does Sweden believe about nuclear weapons

Nuclear weapons are too dangerous, peace needs trust and not fear, needing stronger inspection on IAEA

NPT, CTBT, FMCT, IAEA

NPT (Stops the spread of nuclear weapons), CTBT (Stops nuclear testing), FMCT (Stops making bomb materials) and IAEA (Checks for nuclear safety and inspections).

If someone says nukes give security

True safety cannot come from weapons that destroy everything, better inspections give more safety than bombs and security us built on fear is not real security.

What does Sweden want?

Stop making bomb material (FMCT) and more trust & cooperation

What so swedence stance on NPT, CTBT AND FMCT

Sweden fully supports all three because they reduce danger and increase global trust

Sweden believes in stronger inspection which can reduce risk, we must stop producing nuclear bomb material and let’s work together for safer global rules.
