1L: phenoxymethylpenicillin. 2L: clarithromycin (erythromycin in pregnancy.)
Scarlet fever symptoms
Flu-like symptoms. Fever. Swollen neck glands. 12-48hrs later â red rash with small raised bumps (âsandpaperâ). Strawberry tongue.
What is a âstrawberry tongueâ?
Symptom of scarlet-fever: white coating on tongue â coating peels off â tongue red, swollen & covered in bumps
Abx treatment: Acne Vulgaris
Adapalene. Clindamyin. Benzoyl peroxide. Lymecycline.
