1L: phenoxymethylpenicillin. 2L: clarithromycin (erythromycin in pregnancy.)

Scarlet fever symptoms

Flu-like symptoms. Fever. Swollen neck glands. 12-48hrs later → red rash with small raised bumps (“sandpaper”). Strawberry tongue.

What is a “strawberry tongue”?

Symptom of scarlet-fever: white coating on tongue → coating peels off → tongue red, swollen & covered in bumps
