How does water move through the cycle
- Precipitation occurs over land and ocean
- Transpiration occurs (water evaporates from plants) retiring water to air in a gaseous form
- Evaporation occurs from bodies of water and turns into a gaseous form
- Seepage/Perculation occurs (like underground runoff) moving water underground into a body of water
- Runoff occurs moving water from on land to off land
- Condensation occurs in collecting the water vapours in the air and returning them to a liquid state once they become too dense for the air
\
IMPORTANT NOTES
- the water cycle moves through the motions using the heat from the Sun
- Aquafers, fraking and the garbage patches all effect water quality and contamination
- only 1.2 % of the water on Earth is drinkable
- Water is apart of every cell and molecule
