Simple cuboidal epithelium
A single layer of cube-shaped cells, found in kidney tubules and pancreatic ducts.

A single layer of flat cells, found in blood vessels (capillaries) and alveoli.
Cornea epithelium
Simple squamous epithelium found on the internal surface of the cornea.
Simple columnar epithelium
A single layer of column-shaped cells, found in the small intestine and gall bladder.

Appears to be stratified but is a single layer, found in the epididymis.

Epithelial tissue that can stretch, found in the urinary bladder.
Stratified squamous keratinized epithelium
Multi-layered flat cells that are keratinized, found in the skin.
Stratified squamous non-keratinized epithelium
Multi-layered flat cells that are moist, found in the esophagus.

Found in thyroid follicles and pancreatic ducts.
Simple columnar epithelium
Present in the uterine tubes.
