• Built on estuaries, with generators powered by tides

Wave power

• wave powered turbines

• no pollution after building

• disturbs marine life

Bio fuel

• from crops burnt

• land could’ve been used for food

• growing crops = habitat destruction

• deforestation = CO2

Non renewables

• reliable/will not run out

• Coal/gas/fossils

• natural gas heats water pumped though radiators

Reliance on fossils

• 20th century - increase in population

• Higher demand for electricity

• 21st century - decrease in electricity use as there are more efficient appliances
