Carpals
- any of several small angular bones that in humans make up the wrist

navicular (schapoid)
- situated between the hand and forearm on the thumb side of the wrist

lunate (carpals)
- situated in the center of the proximal row carpal bones, which lie between the ulna and radius and the hand
- deep concavity and crescentic outline

triquetrum (carpals)
- located in the wrist on the medial side of the proximal row of the carpus between the lunate and pisiform bones
- triangular bone

pisiform (carpals)
- small knobbly, pea-shaped sesamoid bone that is found in the wrist
- forms the ulnar border of the carpal tunnel

greater multangular (carpals)
- "trapezium" bone in the wrist
- forms the radial border of the carpal tunnel

lesser multangular (carpals)
- "trapezoid" bone in the wrist

capitate (carpals)
- largest of the carpal bones in the human hand, and occupies the center of the wrist

hamate (carpals)
- bone in the human wrist readily distinguishable by its wedge shape and a hook-like process

metacarpals
- numbered 1-5 / from lateral to medial

phalanges (fingers)
Fingers: 2-5 (proximal, middle, distal)
1 (proximal & distal)

Tarsals
- any one of seven bones making up the tarsus of the foot, consisting of the talus, calcaneus, cuboid, navicular, and the three cuneiforms

- heel bone

talus
- ankle bone, is a bone in the collection of bones in the foot called the tarsus
- connects to the lower leg

navicular
- located on the medial side of the foot
- articulates proximally with the talus, distally with the three cuneiform bones, and laterally with the cuboid

cuboid
- one of the seven tarsal bones located on the lateral side of the foot

2nd cuneiform
- intermediate cuneiform

3rd cuneiform
- lateral cuneiform

metatarsals
- numbered from medial to lateral 1-5 or starting with the great toe

phalanges (toes)
