Page Layout
The arrangement of text, pictures, and other objects on a page.
Margins
The spaces between the content and the edge of a document, allowing for easier reading and holding of printed documents.
Normal Margins
Default margins in Microsoft Word set to 2.54 centimeters (1 inch) on each side.
Custom Margins
User-defined margin settings that can be adjusted for specific document needs.
Portrait Orientation
Document layout where the content is set vertically, commonly used for letters and reports.
Landscape Orientation
Document layout where the content is set horizontally, used for fitting more content on a single page.
Page Setup tab
A section in Microsoft Word used to adjust page layout settings, including margins and orientation.
Page Setup group
A set of commands within the Page Layout tab that allows users to modify page layout attributes.
The Three Little Pigs
A story used in the lecture to illustrate the concept of document formatting and layout.
Indentations
The space between the text and the margin, which can be adjusted for visual presentation.
