Momentum
The product of mass and velocity of an object.
Impulse
The change in momentum of an object when a force is applied over time.
Inelastic Collision
A collision in which objects stick together after colliding.
Elastic Collision
A collision in which objects bounce off each other without losing kinetic energy.
Power
The rate at which work is done or energy is transferred.
Work
The energy transferred when a force is applied over a distance.
Mechanical Advantage
The ratio of the output force produced by a machine to the input force applied to it.
Simple Machines
Devices that change the direction or magnitude of a force, examples include levers and pulleys.
Efficiency
The ratio of useful work output to total work input, often expressed as a percentage.
Recoil Velocity
The backward velocity of a gun when a bullet is fired.
