the charter has the right and freedom at the same time these rights and freedom are not absolute and there are reasonable limitations

Sections 7-11 of the charter covers all areas of criminal law.
If the court finds out that criminal law enforcement crossed the rights of the individual and the crown fails to justify why so, there are 2 ways the panels of the justice will deal with it. The evidence that was recovered will be excluded or the court would dismiss the case.

declares that everyone has the right to live, liability, and security of the person and cannot be deprived of these rights except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice.

the people will not subject to unreasonable searches and seizures. SO there must be a reason to the search.

everyone has the right not to be arbitrarily detained or imprisoned. there must be a good reason to get them prisoned or detained.

the rights of people have while under arrested or detetion they must be informed of the reason

b ) trial must occur at a reasonable time
c ) accused can not be forced to testify at his or her trial.

means that government can not punish anyone in an unnecessarily harsh fashioned way.

guarantees that witness giving evidence in court can not have their testimony used up against them.

anyone who is earing imparied or cannot understand or speak is allowed to have a translator

C) these rights are to be applied equally without discrimination.

gurantees the right of english speaking or french speaking, their parents are allowed to to have their kid educated in their own language
