Quotient Rule (Exponents)

a^m / a^n = a^(m-n)

Power to a Power Rule

(a^m)^n = a^(m*n)

Solving Multistep Equations

Involves distributing, combining like terms, and isolating the variable.

Infinitely Many Solutions

Occurs when both sides of an equation are identical (e.g., 2x+1 = 2x+1)

No Solution

Occurs when the equation leads to a false statement (e.g., 2x+1 = 2x+0 leads to 1=0)

One Solution
