Concession
The act of conceding or yielding, often used in arguments where one acknowledges a point made by an opponent.
Refutation

An appeal to pity or sympathy, often used in arguments to win someone over by playing on their emotions rather than presenting factual evidence.

A fallacy in which one argues that a proposition must be true because many people believe it.
Ad Vericundiam
Also known as an appeal to authority, it's a fallacy where someone argues that something is true because an authority figure believes it, without proper evidence supporting the claim.
Lapse
A temporary failure or slip, often in judgment, memory, or behavior.
Malady
A disease or disorder, often used to describe a deep or chronic problem.
Myriad
A countless or extremely large number of something.
Necessitate
To make something necessary or unavoidable.

To settle or lie comfortably within or against something.
