Explain two ways the American Revolution influenced the French Revolution.

France funded the American revolution, which in turn put France in debt. Then the French royalty continued to use France's funds for unimportant things. Which led to the uprising in France, since the peasants were paying most of the taxes. Also the bill of rights and the way America was running things gave the French peasants inspiration for what type of government they wanted to have; a government for the people and by the people.

Identify two Enlightenment ideas that influenced the American Revolution and explain how the idea was used in the creation of a new government.

Some of the Philosophy given in the Enlightenment era was used to make the system for the US. For example, John Locke said that everyone was entitled to life, liberty and property. This philosophy was later used by Thomas Jefferson when writing the declaration of independence, but he changed it up a bit, changing it to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Another example is that Baron de Montesquieu said that the government should b split into 3 branches and the American government did just that, splitting it into the Legislative, executive and judicial branches

I would agree because the revolution worked for a while then after the loss napoleon took France went back to having a king. Also the reign of terror that Robespierre ruled over wasn't much better than what they had before and was bound to fail because of all the deaths that happened during that. Also during the reign of napoleon their right was already less and after his death they reverted to their old government
