What did Britain do?

Sent £100 million worth of supplies to the Whites. Wanted to prevent the spread of Bolshevism. There was opposition in Britain to this involvement

Why did France get involved?

French investors had put millions of francs into Russia and they were angry that the Bs had nationalised foreign owned businesses without compensation

How did Japan become involved?

Sent forces into Siberia, especially around Vladivostok, in the hope of grabbing valuable territory

How did USA become involved?

Sent troops in to stop Japan annexing land

How was ally involvement overall?

Unenthusiastic and ineffective, troops had enough of war and there was no real support from the public. The Whites gained important supplies but Allied soldiers took no part in serious military action
