What did Britain do?

Sent £100 million worth of supplies to the Whites. Wanted to prevent the spread of Bolshevism. There was opposition in Britain to this involvement

Unenthusiastic and ineffective, troops had enough of war and there was no real support from the public. The Whites gained important supplies but Allied soldiers took no part in serious military action
