• Processes food into usable molecules

• Produces movement and maintains posture

Skeletal system

• Bones and ligaments

• Forms the framework of the body

Cardiovascular system

• Blood, heart, and blood vessels

• Transports nutrients, hormones, and oxygen

Reproductive system

• Ovaries and testes

Urinary system

• Removes nitrogenous wastes from the blood

• Regulates fluid and chemical content of the body

Integumentary system

• Consists of skin, hair, and sweat glands

• Protective covering of the body

Immune System

Control of the body’s defense system
