Psyche

Logos
An Ancient Greek word meaning knowledge or study.
Psychology
The scientific study of overt behavior and covert mental processes.
Introspection
Personal observation of your own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Cognitive unconscious
The subconscious area where mental processing takes place, making it difficult to accurately describe inner thoughts, feelings, sensations, and motives.
Pseudoscience
Fake science, such as palm reading, healing crystals, or astrology, that relies on vague or unverified claims rather than empirical evidence.
Critical thinking
A type of reflection that asks whether a belief can be supported by both scientific theory and observation.
Falsification
An attempt to show how a common sense belief or theory might be false.
