One of the global programs offered at UD is the innovative World Scholars Program which allows students to study their first semester abroad in countries like Greece, Italy, England, New Zealand, or Spain and then again in their junior year.

The Center for Global Programs & Services also supports international students, the Delaware Diplomats scholarship, and assists with prestigious international awards such as Fulbright and Gilman.

Main Street is a major road located behind Elliott Hall, and offers over 70 restaurants with options for every taste and budget, all within a one-mile stretch that connects directly to the University of Delaware’s scenic main campus here in Newark.

Above many of the stores and restaurants on Main Street are apartments that are great options for off-campus housing. Students may choose to live off-campus as early as their Sophomore year, however, there are several on-campus opportunities for upper division students if they would like to stay on campus after their first year.
