Interpersonal Attraction
Factors contributing to liking or loving people, such as proximity, reward, shared attitudes, and physical attractiveness.
Passionate Love
An intense emotional connection marked by physiological arousal.
Companionate Love
A deeper affection characterized by friendship and emotional intimacy.
Triangular Theory of Love
A theory proposing that love consists of three components: intimacy, passion, and commitment.
Altruism
Intentional behaviors that benefit others without obvious gains for the provider.
Diffusion of Responsibility
The phenomenon where individuals feel less personal responsibility to act when others are present.
Hostile Aggression
Aggression driven by anger, aimed at harming another.
Instrumental Aggression
Aggression that is calm and pragmatic, often used to achieve a goal.

A phenomenon where the desire for harmony in a group leads to poor decision-making.
