Invasive Species
An exotic species likely to cause economic or environmental harm or harm to human health.
Introduced Species
A species that has been brought to an area outside its native distribution range through human activity, either deliberately or accidentally.
Risk Assessment
The process of quantitatively and qualitatively determining risk related to a specific threat.
Climate Envelope
A model used to determine the likelihood of a species' survival based on the climate it originated from.
Tens Rule
A rule indicating that approximately one in ten alien species introduced to a new region will establish as free-living populations, and one in ten of those will become invasive.
Targeted Grazing
A method used to control invasive plant species by allowing livestock to graze on them, which can inadvertently spread seeds.

Consequences of invasive species which can include crop damage, loss of biodiversity, and economic costs to agriculture.
