Lack of close up shots

There's very few close or mid shots as it creates a lack of intimacy. When it occurs it's almost as if we are with them. Closeups are used when we want to sympathise or relate to the character by taking it away; we are distancing ourselves.
Use of CU builds intimacy, when used on theo it highlights his responses and his ability to feel again.

Main idea - paragraph 2

represents the hope of a new day, a new tomorrow where the world will again hear the laughter of children. This is emphasised as the closing credits play and we can hear children laughing in the background.
