What is Inertia?

The tendency for motion to remain unchanged; until acted on by a resultant force, objects at rest remain at rest and objects moving at a constant velocity will continue to move that velocity (N1stLaw), this tendency to keep moving with the same velocity is called inertia.

When two objects interact, the forces they exert on each other are equal (referring to magnitude) and opposite (referring to direction) e.g. if you push something (like a trolley), it will push back against you, just as hard and as soon as you stop pushing, so does the trolley
