What does direct discrimination mean

What is indirect discrimination
When a seemingly neutral rule gives a disadvantage to a protected characteristic group. (E.g. could be only stairs-this discrimates the elderly)

When someone treates a person in a way they feel uncomfortable, unwanted or scared/threatened.
What is victimisation
Punishing someone because they are standing up for their rights. (E.g. a man telling a women to get back to cooking when the women was standing u and saying she shouldn’t be cooking more than a man)

What is a log book and what should you track in it
A log book is a book used to track emergencies and recordings .
An example is a fire log book, and you right in it when you last checked the alarms. Or if an emergency happened you write who is writing, where you are, the time, date and place.
What is data protection act
An act to protect your data, legal right to control someone else’s information.

It replaces the data protection regulation because the new act, 1998, is bigger and better and explains clearly how data protection act stores your data safely
