  • hitler established the SS who were Hitler’s personal body guards, it would later become the main instrument of terror in Nazi Germany, it would take time for the SS to grow and establish a reputation

  • Hitler realised the nazi party would have to work in democracy and so once in power they would dismantle democracy, nazis would need time to gain votes and win majority

  • workers with radical political views in the 1920s were still more likely to support the communists, urban industrial workers actually felt they were doing well under Weimar

  • By 1928, Germany finally achieved the same levels of production as before the war and regained it’s place as the seconds greatest industrial power, huge win for Strassman and gained him support
