Action
Mainly used to make the liver release stores of glucose. Also stabilizes cardiac rhythms in beta-blocker overdose. Decreases GI secretions and function
Indications
Altered LOC with sispected hypoglycemia, beta-blocker or calcium-channel-blocker overdose

Dizziness, headache, hypertension, tachycardia, nausea, vomiting, rebound hypoglycemia
Special Considerations
If the liver has no stored glucose, it won't work. Preferably given along with D50, If two doses of Glucagon are unsccessful, D50 must be given. Requires reconstitution.
