What is a vector quantity?
A vector quantity is any quantity that has both magnitude and direction. e.g. velocity.
“Triangle law of vector addition”
It states that; “If three forces are in equilibrium, they can be represented in both magnitude and direction by the three sides of a triangle taken in order”.
Resultant and magnitude
R = sqr*(X² + Y²)
magnitude; tan0 = y/x
Vectors
For vectors sue the concept of x and y axis.
