As Catholics, what are we not supposed to receive? Why?

The communion from other denominations, especially those that came about during the Reformation. Because in receiving it you are saying that the Catholic Church doesn’t have power/everyone has power of the Body and Blood, that what you are receiving is the Body and Blood of Jesus, but that it is a lie because it isn’t.

Loving God and others

Type AB blood and that Christ was indeed suffering (heart was under a lot of stress and the Shroud shows that Christ really suffered).

Why is the Eucharist essential to salvation?

It is a central event to the work of our redemption like the Passover was the central event to saving the Isrealites

What is the confedior? Why do we have it?

During the beginning of Mass when you say “I confess to almighty God”-Penitential Rite. We want to be free of sin before receiving the Eucharist.

The Collect because we are offering Jesus back to God will all of our intentions.

When the priest gets up to the altar, he is entering the sanctuary. Sometimes priest have incense that they use around the altar. The altar is where the sacrifice of Christ will be made present again.

No, you need to have to have the complete Mass celebration

No, there are Eucharistic ministers 

If something happened to the priest during the consecration and he only consecrated the bread what would happen?

The Mass would be discontinued until they brought in someone else to consecrate the wine. Since you need both to be consecrated in order for it to be a valid sacrament.

Why don’t you have to receive the Blood?

Because the Body has both in it

Drinking of the fourth cup-cup of consumption-Jesus does not do this. However, He takes it on the Cross with the hisp of wine and vinegar.

Coming back to adoration after you have received the Eucharist and loving neighbor with the charity that God gives us

Confessing mortal sin, doing examination of conscience

Coming in with reverence, come in with the belief in faith that Jesus becomes truly present, genuflecting, saying the prayers of Mass

The service of all people, trying to bring them to salvation.

Have to receive the Eucharist at least once a year, go to confession once a year, and attend Mass on Sunday
