BONUS 2) Why was the Battle of King's Mountain so important?
The reason why this was such an important battle was because it came at the same time Lord Cornwallis, the commander of British forces, lost a string of battles. Since this battle took place in the south, and Cornwallis' losses were more north, it showed that the British were losing battles up and down the east coast in all the colonies, not just in Massachusetts. It showed that the British were losing everywhere, and the war wouldn't last much longer.
