Maya Angelou
Born: on April 4 1928 in st louis Missouri but she later moved to Arkansas to live with her grandmother due to her parents separation. She passed away on may 28 2014 at 86 years old from natural causes. Her major works include "i know why the caged birds sings" which is s memoir on her life growin up in the segregated south These 2 down here are some of her poems "Still I Rise" and "Caged Bird" which shows angelous common themes of resilience in the face of oppression
