Romeo goes to see Juliet again

Benvolio and Mercutio think he is still in love with Rosaline / spent the night with her

Act 2 : Scene 1

Balcony scene

Romeo expresses his love for Juliet

Juliet wishes they weren’t enemies

Decide to meet with friar Lawrence to get married

Act 2 : Scene 2

Romeo visits Friar

Friar thinks Romeo is still in love with Rosaline

Friar agrees to marry them but warns Romeo to take things slow and was still not sure about his intentions

Act 2 : Scene 3

Benvolio and Mercutio look for Romeo cause Tybalt sent a duel request

Mercutio teases Romeo for being in love

Nurse and Peter appear to help plan for the wedding, she also threatens him

She tells Romeo about Paris but not to worry

Mercutio teases the nurse

Act 2 : Scene 4

Juliet worries sense the Nurse is taking longer than expected

The nurse, out of breath, tells juliet the plan about the marriage

The nurse explains that Romeo is handsome but not that respectful

Act 5: Scene 5

Juliet and Romeo get married but no one knows

Benvolio is worried about the letter Tybalt sent

Romeo says he has reason to “love” Tybalt

Tybalt and Mercutio fight and when Romeo gets between them, Tybalt stabs Mercutio

Mercutio dies and curses a plague on both houses

Romeo and Tybalt fight, Tybalt dies

Benvolio explains to the prince and everyone else

Prince says Romeo won’t be executed but banished from Verona

Act 3: scene 1

Juliet thinks the Nurse is telling her someone killed Romeo

Juliet realizes it was Tybalt’s dead body the Nurse saw

She starts to second-guess herself about Romeo

She realizes if Romeo didn’t kill Tybalt then he would have been dead

Juliet thinks Romeo being banished is worse then him being dead

The nurse finds Romeo to say their final goodbyes.

Act 3: Scene 2

Romeo thinks him being banned is worse then death

Nurse stops Romeo from killing himself with a dagger

Friar Lawrence allows Romeo to spend the night with Juliet and leave in the morning

Act 3: Scene 3

Pairs, Capulet, and Lady capulet talk about Tybalts death

Capulet sets the marriage with Paris on Thursday

Act 3: Scene 4

Romeo and Juliet say their goodbyes

Lady Capulet comes and tells Juliet she will send someone to poison Romeo

Juliet plays along and acts like she wants to be the one to do it

LC tells Juliet she will marry Paris on Thursday

Juliet threatens her mom to not talk to her again if they make her get married

Capulet threatens Juliet to marry Paris or he would kick her out.

Even the Nurse tells Juliet to marry Paris, since romeo is gone

Juliet tells herself she will go to friar and if he doesn’t have a plan for her she will kill herself

Act 3 : scene 5

Paris tries to be sensitive to the fact that Juliet is sad

Friar tells Juliet his plan and to agree to marry paris

Potion lasts 42 hours

she will be buried in the monument and let out by friar and romeo

Act 4 : scene 1

Capulet is so happy Juliet agreed to marry Paris

Moves the wedding to wednesday not thursday

Act 4 : scene 2

Juliet says her soliloquy but ends up drinking the potion.

Act 4 : scene 3

Capulet talks to the nurse ( Angelica) and asks her to wake up Juliet for her wedding day

Act 4 : Scene 4

Nurse thinks Juliet is fast asleep but realizes shes dead

Lady capulet and capulet find out

Friar acts clueless and says Juliet is in a better place now

Capulet asks for all the decor to be turned into things for the funeral.
