How was the PT-109 used during JFK’s campaign for presidency?
The PT-109 story takes place in World War II. Kennedy and his crew were in the boat and Kennedy was supposed to be on lookout. Kennedy was actually sleeping and his entire crew was sleeping instead of looking out for the Japanese. Suddenly, a Japanese destroyer crashed into the boat, causing the boat of break and made it sink. Kennedy survived after that incident and turned the incident into a Hollywood film. The film depicted Kennedy being a hero, which he used during his presidency campaign.

The Kennedy family was a wealthy family. Joseph Kennedy Sr. was the father of JFK and he was the one who made the family rich in the first place. Once his kids were born, the Kennedy family had a very wealthy lifestyle. One member in the Kennedy family was Joseph P Kennedy Jr. Kennedy Sr. wanted Kennedy Jr. to be president of the United States. However, Kennedy Jr. was in the Navy. However, he was killed in WWII and didn’t get to fulfill his father’s dreams.

Camelot is a term used for Kennedy’s presidency. His presidency was highly mythologized, which was the reason why people use that term for Kennedy’s presidency. Some people pointed to his presidency as how the US government should be like.
What was special about Fidel Castro.
FIdel Castro was very communist. HIs communism spread all throughout Latin America and we were also very involved with Cuba as well. However, the people in Cuba didn’t like his rule.
Explain the Bay of Pigs
The Bay of Pigs was an invasion to try and destroy two Cuban air bases in an attempt to throw off the communist tyrant, Fidel Castro. However, on the day of the invasion, the bombers missed their target air bases. After the attack, the bases were still intact. Two days later, another invasion happened. The second invasion was also not good, with the brigade getting heavy fire. This attempt did not overthrow Castro and instead made the tension between America and Cuba worse.

In the Cuban Missile Crisis, The Cubans placed missiles in Cuba so that America doesn’t mess with them. However, the Americans used spy planes with cameras to see what missiles the Cubans had and what they were getting up to. The Americans then tried to put a blockade near Cuba. The tension at this point in time was the highest, for 13 days. After those 13 days, both countries decided to take the missiles out of their countries.

The Peace Corps was established in 1961 and the purpose of it was to send young volunteers to third world countries to lend their skills in locally sponsored projects.

Kennedy influenced the math and science field with the Space Race. He wanted to put emphasis on math and science so the Americans can get to the moon before the Soviets can.

NASA was created to oversee American space exploration during the Space Race, when the Soviets and the Americans were trying to put the first man on the moon.
Explain about Kennedy’s death. When and where did it happen?
Kennedy was in a motorcade through Dallas and was then suddenly shot by Lee Harvey Oswald and a few other gunmen. The government tried to say that there was only one shooter that killed Kennedy, but a lot of evidence says not. However, Oswald was also killed by a different person, Jack Ruby. Jack Ruby was a low-level member of the mafia. The CIA also has documents that they don’t want to release, since it seems that they have something to do with the assassination of JFK.

Lyndon Banes Johnson was sworn in after Kennedy’s assassination. During Johnson’s presidency, he had what was called the Great Society. The Great Society was a lot of initiatives to reduce poverty, lower crime, and abolish inequality among the people.
