Physical Quantity

Non-Physical Quantities

Base Units

Base units are the fundamental quantities in the International System of Units (SI) that define other derived units.

Derived Units

Derived units are created by multiplying or dividing base units. They measure complex physical quantities like speed, force, or energy.

• Speed/Velocity: Meter per second (m/s) — derived from length divided by time (meter/second)
