MRSA
Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, a type of bacteria resistant to many antibiotics.
Normal Flora
Microbes that are normally found in the body and are essential for health.
Life Expectancy (LE)
The average period that a person may expect to live.
Health-adjusted Life Expectancy (HALE)
The average number of years a person can expect to live in good health.
Notifiable Disease
A disease where timely information is required for prevention and control.
