You need to adapt to the speed limit yourself, if it’s icy slow down, if someone is behind you, speed up!!
15 MPH
Alleys and narrow residential areas
20 MPH
Business district and school zone
25 MPH
Residential, public parks, and ocean shores
55 MPH
All roads highways (may vary)
65 MPH
Interstates highway (may vary)
Slow driver (actions)
Drive closest to the right-hand curb unless making left turns. If driving too slow, park in a safe spot and wait.
Racing
Illegal, it could be accelerating or contest.
Yellow marking (middle)
To define traffic moving opposite direction
Solid yellow line (side)
Marks the left edge of one way road
Broken yellow center line
Means you can pass with caution
Two yellow marking, one dotted and one solid (center)
If you are on the dotted side, you can pass. If you’re on the solid side, you can’t pass.
Double solid yellow line
You can’t pass on both sides unless you making a turn, though wait for traffic.
Two way special left turn lane
A lane to perform turns to roads. Be caution since it shared with both lane.
Solid white lane
Used for an edge or fog line to help drivers
Wide solid white line
Used to indicate different lanes. EX: Bike lane and turns lane
Broken white line
Separate lanes in the same direction
Double solid white line
No lane changes
Marked crosswalk
To walk across the road
Stop line
A white solid line for you to stop before traffic lights or stop signs

Safe following distance
2-4 secs, but if >30MPH then 4 sec. Check if you can see back (rear) tires meet the road.

Slow down and use the speed on the signs as a guide
You can’t pass on
Markings that said so, your view is blocked (curves/hills), intersections, railroads and crosswalks
Entering freeways (actions)
You accelerate to match the speed, check mirrors, wait for the existing traffic.
Leaving freeways (actions)
Turn on your signals (well ahead), maintain the speed before driving off, then slow down to match the speech limit.
