First Amendment
Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom to assemble, and freedom to petition.
Second Amendment
The right to keep and bear firearms.
Third Amendment
The government cannot force people to house soldiers.
Fourth Amendment
Prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures of a person's property.
Fifth Amendment
The government cannot force people to testify against themselves in a trial. "You have the right to remain silent."
Sixth Amendment
U.S. Citizens have the right to a fair, speedy, and public trial.

Eighth Amendment
Citizens are protected from cruel and unusual punishment and excessive fines/bail.

Powers not given to the federal government belong to the state and/or people.
