Air Force Song: First Verse
Off we go into the wild blue yonder, Climbing high into the sun; Here they come, zooming to meet our thunder, At ‘em now, give ‘em the gun! Down we dive, spouting our flame from under, Off with one helluva roar! We live in fame or go down in flame, Hey! Nothing’ll stop the US Air Force!
The Space Force Song
We’re the mighty watchful eye, Guardians beyond the blue, The invisible front line, Warfighters brave and true. Boldly reaching into space, There’s no limit to our sky. Standing guard both night and day, We’re the Space Force from on high.
Verbal Counseling (V)
Assigned to the cadet by their immediate supervisor. Used to verbally inform the cadet of a certain infraction, possibility of infraction in the future, or failure to meet standards. Cadets will be counseled on the spot or as soon as practical/appropriate with no paperwork required. An email may be sent in lieu of an in-person conversation due to the increasing reliance on technological medians. The counselor will note the counseling in the discipline tracker and add information about the counseling.
Memorandum for Record (MFR)
Assigned to the cadet by their immediate supervisor. An MFR in which the cadet details the conduct that led to their counseling, why they did not rectify the issue after being issued their Verbal counseling (if applicable), what they should have done differently, and how they will correct the problem in future. Cadets should reference the relevant AFI section(s), to teach them to reference appropriate rules and regulations. The MFR will be due one week after being assigned.
Letter of Counseling (LOC)
Will be written by the supervisor of the cadet who has already been counseled via MFR (if applicable) on the recurring mistake. The counseled cadets supervisor who issued the LOC will have a formal face-to-face meeting with the violating cadet to go over the LOC and approve it.
Letter of Admonition (LOA)
Will be given to the counseled cadet who have already received an LOC on the recurring mistake. The LOA is written by the IG and given to the counseled cadet for that cadet to keep. When the LOA is passed on from the IG to the counseled cadet it will be in the presence of the Wing Commander, and or, Vice Wing Commander, in which a formal face-to-face meeting with the violating cadet will occur
Letter of Reprimand (LOR)
Is for Wing Commander use only. An LOR is written by the Wing Commander and given to the Cadet, who must sign the document at the conclusion of their meeting with the Operations Officer, Wing Commander, Vice Wing Commander, and IG.
