What is the AP French Language and Culture exam format?
The exam format includes 30 multiple-choice questions, 35 Multiple choice Audio questions, 2 Free response written questions and 2 free response spoken questions. The exam is broken down with the multiple choice taking 23% of the weight, the multiple choice audio being 27%, the free response written being 25% and finally the free response spoken being 25%. Students are allotted 40 minutes to complete the multiple-choice section, 55 minutes for the multiple choice Audio section, 1 hour and 10 minutes for the written FRQ section and finally 18 minutes for the FRQ spoken section.
