Place Value

Standard Form
A way to represent a number using digits, such as 1,243.
Word Form
A way to represent a number using words, such as One thousand two hundred forty-three.
Expanded Form
A way to represent a number by showing the sum of the value of each digit, such as 1,000+200+40+3.
Base Jen Form
One of the four listed ways to represent a number, appearing alongside Standard, Word, and Expanded forms.
