What does "Tang Soo Do" mean?
Literally translated the word "Tang" refers to the Tang Dynasty of China, which reflects the shared cultural background between China and Korea (617-907 AD). "Soo" means hand and "Do" means way of life or art.

What are the things you should do when entering the dojang
-students (in uniform or reg clothes) should bow into the dojang and to the Instructor on the floor.
-shoes should be put away properly
-they should sign in
-if not in uniform, quickly change into uniform

Rules and Regulations of the Dojang
1-arrive at least 10 minutes before class to warm-up
2-show respect by bowing to Instructors and Black Belts
3-salute the flags upon entering and leaving the training floor.
4-maintain a clean, correctly marked uniform at all times
5-avoid taking part in loud conversations before or after class
6-look w the intent to learn
7-listen carefully with the intent to learn
8-remove shoes before entering the training floor
9-no alcohol, smoking, or gum chewing in the school
10-instructors and students should use Tang Soo Do terminology as much as possible
11-all members should assist in keeping the school clean
12-notify an Instructor in case of absence or injury.
13-members must observe proper protocol at all times
14-members should maintain self-control or composure during class
15-members must observe APTSDF codes, tenets, creed and princiiples at all times
