With support for equity, fixed income, alternative, and blended portfolios, Portfolio Analysis offers fully customizable reports to meet the unique needs of each client.

Portfolio Reporting Batcher

The Portfolio Reporting Batcher provides clients with a centralized platform to automate, schedule, and manage the generation of portfolio analytics reports at scale, saving valuable time and effort. rather than manually producing reports at the end of each month or quarter, clients can set up reports to run on a specified frequency or on demand. With a fully customizable workflow, enhanced security, and a single hub to monitor and manage all jobs, Portfolio Reporting Batcher helps clients streamline their reporting process from start to finish.

Data Central

Data Central gives clients full control of their proprietary data by providing a centralized platform to upload, view, and edit data stored on FactSet’s mainframes, offering a seamless way to manage data in one place. Uploading their data is easy and quick, whether copying and pasting from Excel or entering it manually. Once their data is all in one place, they can leverage it or combine it with FactSet’s broader data sources to build custom reports, screens, and databases tailored to their unique needs.

Portfolio Dashboard

Portfolio Dashboard saves clients time by consolidating holdings- and returns-based style, performance, risk, and characteristic analytics from Portfolio Analysis, SPAR, and Portfolio Insight into a single, customizable report. Clients can define their universe of portfolios and tailor the statistics and columns that matter most to them, creating a personalized snapshot of their portfolio data. Depending on their subscriptions, clients can further enhance their dashboard by incorporating Portfolio Vault views, linking Portfolio Insight documents, or comparing Portfolio Analysis and SPAR side by side with Vault data.

Portfolio List Manager

Portfolio List Manager gives clients a centralized place to view and manage information of all their uploaded portfolios, OFDBs, and accounts. From there, clients can assign portfolio attributes such as benchmarks, groupings, asset types, currency, exclusions, and more. Clients can also use Portfolio List Manager to create several types of portfolio and benchmark files, such as accounts and account composites.

Portfolio Publisher

Portfolio Publisher allows clients to create and distribute fully customized reports that seamlessly integrate Portfolio Analysis, SPAR, and Portfolio Insight content alongside their own proprietary data, all formatted as PDFs or PowerPoint files. Clients can manage and locate files quickly, saving time and streamlining their reporting workflow. For those who would like more control, the Publisher Curator option gives clients full ownership over document modifications, ensuring their reports are always tailored to their exact needs.

Quick Returns

Quick Returns allows clients to easily view, edit, and upload proprietary return series data onto FactSet, as well as create new OFDB files. Once uploaded, clients can seamlessly leverage this data across SPAR and other custom reports and screens within FactSet.

SPAR

SPAR (Style, Performance, and Risk) is a returns-based portfolio analysis product that gives clients a trusted foundation to identify and monitor style, measure performance and risk, and conduct peer universe analysis across portfolios, benchmarks, and competitor funds. With access to several benchmarks and risk statistics, and peer rankings from leading databases, clients have everything they need to make informed investment decisions. Their results can be instantly packaged into PDFs, PowerPoints, or Excel documents, simplifying reporting.

Universal Screening

Universal Screening allows clients to test and confirm investment strategies by screening for securities across multiple databases simultaneously, either using custom-built or pre-made FactSet screens. The product gives clients full control over their analysis, with the ability to apply filters, groupings, sorting, and custom formulas, and display results how they want. Findings can be easily exported as PDFs, PowerPoints, or Excel files, or saved for future use, keeping workflows efficient.

Alpha Testing

Alpha Testing allows client to assess the relationship between one or more variables and subsequent returns over time, helping them build and validate more informed investment models. Clients have full control over their analysis, specifying the factors, historical context, and fractile assignments that matter most to them, with results viewed as either overview charts and reports, or detailed period-specific breakdowns. These findings can be easily organized, customized, and visualized, giving clients a comprehensive and flexible view of their data.
