It carries oxygen-poor blood away from the heart toward the lungs.

It carries oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the rest of the body.

Femoral Artery

carries oxygen-rich blood into the lower limb.

Femoral Vein

carries oxygen-poor blood from the leg back toward the heart.
