Heat Transfer
The exchange of energy from a hot body to a cold body when two bodies at two different temperatures (T1=T2) are made to be in contact.
Particle Behavior in Conduction
The process where atoms or particles near a heat bath become thermally agitated and collide with neighboring atoms to transfer heat, while the average position of the mass does not change.
Steady State
A condition in an object where heat flows from one end to the other end at a continuous and constant rate.
Rate of Heat Flow
Denoted as dtdQ, it represents the heat transferred per unit time, which remains constant across all sections in a steady state: (dtdQ)A=(dtdQ)B=(dtdQ)C.
