7 Characteristics of Life
homeostasis, cellular organization, reproduction, metabolism, growth and development, response to stimuli, adaptation/evolution
eukarya
membrane bound nucleus + organelles and linear cheomosomes

prokarya
no membrane bound organelles + nucleoid region with no membrane to separate the DNA from the rest of the cell, and contains a singular round chromosome

The three domains of life are:
archaea , bacteria, and eukarya.
Archaea cells are:
extremophiles (resistant to intense environments) and have a cell wall composed of pseudopeptidoglycan, polysaccharides, or glycoproteins.
Bacteria cells have:
a cell wall made of peptidoglycan and have plasma membranes with fatty acid-glycerol esters.
