Psychodynamic Model - ID
Instinctual needs, drives, impulses: Said to always be seeking gratification. Freud believed all id instincts were related to sic fueled the id. Think want to have sex with neighbor.
Psychodynamic Model - Superego
Unconsciously adopt our parents values and judge ourselves by their standards. We develop a conscious and unconscious view of “right” and “wrong.” Think nah you can't have sex with your neighbor.
Psychodynamic Model - Ego
Also seeks gratification but employs reason what was gained through experiences, Controls id and reduces anxiety they create. Think can't have sex with neighbor but how about girlfriend?
