What is electric charge?
Electric charge is a property of subatomic particles that causes them to experience a force when placed in an electromagnetic field. Protons are positive (+), electrons are negative (−), and neutrons are neutral (0).

What are conductors?

What are insulators?
Insulators are materials that do not allow electricity to pass easily, such as rubber, plastic, wood, and glass.
What are the basic parts of an electric circuit?
The basic parts of an electric circuit include a battery (source), wires (path), a switch (opens/closes circuit), and a load (such as a bulb or fan).
What is an open circuit?
An open circuit is a broken path where no current flows, resulting in the bulb being off.
What is a closed circuit?
A closed circuit is a complete path where current flows, resulting in the bulb being on.
What is the characteristic of a series circuit?
A series circuit has one path only, the same current everywhere, and if one bulb breaks, all bulbs go out.
What is the characteristic of a parallel circuit?
A parallel circuit has multiple paths, the same voltage across branches, and if one bulb breaks, others stay on.
