A group of parts that work together to do a specific job.

Water Cycle System
A natural system that moves water around Earth.
The Sun
In the water cycle system, it provides energy for evaporation.
Atmosphere
In the water cycle system, the 'highway' where vapor travels.
Land & Plants
In the water cycle system, the location where water is absorbed and used.
Bicycle System
A human-made transportation system.
Pedals & Chain
The components of a bicycle system that transfer power to the wheels.

Brakes
The component of a bicycle system that allows the system to stop safely.

Frame
The component of a bicycle system that holds all other parts together.
Zero Gravity
A space condition where muscles and bones don't have to work as hard, leading to weakness.
Radiation Exposure
A space hazard involving higher risks to cellular systems outside Earth's atmosphere.
Fluid Shifts
A phenomenon in space where blood and water move differently in the body without gravity pulling them down.
Hypothesis
A guess with a reason, such as predicting which body system struggles most in zero gravity and explaining why.
Information Sheet
The project document containing the science on a system: what it does, what parts it has, and what space does to it.
Group Planning Organizer
The document where students draft everything BEFORE anyone touches the poster paper.
The Poster
The final product of the project, built together in class in assigned colors.
